Having completed the two day PAL (Peer Assisted Learning) course just before the new semester started I was ready for our first PAL sessions with the freshers. In the first session I introduced the aims and objectives of the sessions and opened up the floor to take questions. There were several comments which indicated that all was not well for a few students and between myself and the other PAL leaders we re assured them that we would address their concerns each week to ensure progress was being made.
